The ruling is a wake-up-call to TikTok, which was hit with the New Jersey suit last year as part of an onslaught of suits brought by 14 state attorneys general. The suits allege many young TikTok users are struggling with poor mental health and body image issues as a result of the platform’s allegedly addictive features.
