Catherine has served as a full-time faculty member in the School for New Learning for over three decades. She is an educational entrepreneur who has founded and directed innovative undergraduate and graduate programs and created cross-sector forums for community engagement. She presents, teaches, writes, and consults in the areas of competency-based learning, prior learning assessment, women and aging, and neuroscience and adult learning.  She serves on the Board of Minimum Continuing Legal Education of the Illinois Supreme Court.
